The president of the Somali Football Federation and vice president of CECAFA, Ali Abdi Mohamed, was among African football leaders who attended a strategic meeting in Vancouver ahead of the 76th FIFA Congress.
The meeting was co-chaired by Patrice Motsepe, head of the Confederation of African Football, and Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA.
Participants discussed improving infrastructure, strengthening governance and expanding growth opportunities across African football associations.
The meeting brought together representatives from 54 national associations as part of preparations for the FIFA Congress.
